The Bellagio Dream

The season was about to start, and we’d only just now received the schedule. I picked up my tablet to run through the itinerary to check on places that we’d be travelling to so that I can pack the appropriate designer wear.

Now, let’s see…

 

Week One we’re playing at The Fish Bowl, “Hmm… I think my aqua blue Simmy Choos will work well with the décor of that place.”

Week Two we’re at home, I can decide later from my collection of Home shoes.

 

Week Three we’re… at the Blue Balls Bowlevard, “Oh! Oh! My Nike Lanes!”

Week Four and Five… Home again.

 

Week Six we’re Brindleton Bay bound, and playing at the Death Alley Lanes, “An unfortunate name but it’s a clean establishment, I think that my pair of custom Isobel Marant Etoile boat shoes will work well… for thematic purposes of course.”

Week Seven, we’re at home against the Jive Turkeys, “Maybe my Uptown Funkers?”

Hmm… Week Eight at Skylanes, “Prada! Got to be Prada!”

Week Nine is at home again, “But it’s against Dolls with Balls, so I’ve GOT to impress, maybe my Simrovski Super Blings?”

Week Ten, also at home, against Splits & Giggles this time, I can choose something funny later.

 

Week Eleven is going to be at… Gutter Ball Harbour, “Don’t want to wear my Etoile’s again otherwise I’ll get a reputation. I know! I’ll wear my custom Louis Vuitton boat shoes!”

Okay, so Week Twelve we’re at home, no need to choose now.

 

Week Thirteen we’re at…

“Shut the fuck up!!! The Bellagio? We’re going to be playing at THE Bellagio!?! Oh, this is just wonderful.”

“I can picture it now, we’ll arrive just as “Time to Say Goodbye” starts and the fountains will dance to the music.”

“As I’m standing there, in pure awe of the place, a handsome, mysterious man sidles up beside me and we engage in small talk.”

“Oh, Breanne! He’s so dreamy!”

“Aaaaaah, Dee, you know he’s not real, right?” Breanne said, but nothing could rain on my parade.

 

“Shush, love! I’m fantasising here!”

“He’s smart, he’s funny, and he’s wearing an exceptionally stylish Tom Ford tuxedo, eventually, he’s going to ask me to sail away into the sunset with him.”

“Of course, I would say that I’d need to finish my bowling games for the afternoon, but as soon as that is done, I’d be all his. He’d take me to his boat, a giant 140-meter-long superyacht that is just, pure indulgence.”

“We’ll have wine, and of course he’d have my favourite, Bella Von Cristo Chardonnay. We’ll have caviar, and I’ll discover that I don’t actually like caviar, so we’ll have chocolate dipped strawberries instead which he’ll hand feed me.”

“And then, as the sun set over the horizon, he’d profess his eternal love for me, we’ll dance the night away in his luxurious ballroom, before long, he won’t be able to help himself, and we’ll have our first kiss.”

“Followed by our second, which will be much more passionate!”

“By now, I would be head over heels in love with him and I’d need very little encouragement to take things further!”

“He’ll take me to his room, and we’ll make sweet, sweet love all night long!”

“Oh, I can’t wait, Breanne! I just can’t wait!”

“Ah, Destiny?” Breanne muttered, “I don’t think that it’s THAT Bellagio.”

“Oh, nonsense! Of course, it is! Just you wait and see!”
